Accessibility declaration

Declaration on accessibility

The uTypia team, as part of Trodat Holding GmbH, endeavours to make its web shops accessible in accordance with the European Accessibility  (EAA).Act

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1" due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Unreasonable burden

All defects that were marked as ERROR or CONTRAST ERROR by the WAVE tool recognised by W3C and are therefore a MUST for correction have been corrected without exception. Other lower-classified defects could not be implemented for reasons of disproportionate burden.

b) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

Many, predominantly older PDF documents and Office documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged so that they cannot be recognised and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.

Creation of this accessibility statement

This declaration was created on 26/06/2025.

The assessment of the website's compliance with the EAA Act took the form of an internal audit. All pages that a uTypia webshop offers were checked.
